How long does the delivery take and how is it done?
Time varies according to areas:
- Capital Federal: 24/48 hours after payment has been accredited.
- Gran Buenos Aires: 48 hours after the payment has been accredited.
- Buenos Aires Province and other provinces: 3/6 days after the payment has been accredited.
- Abroad: From 7 to 15 days after the payment has been accredited, depending on the delivery destination.
Once the registration form is complete with the address and delivery destination (BS.AS. Province, other provinces or abroad) a shipping cost is calculated based on
the delivery area and weight of the shipment.
- Capital Federal: Delivered by one of our employees.
- Gran Buenos Aires up to 30 kms: Delivered by one of our employees or by Private courrier.
- Buenos Aires Province and other provinces: delivered by Private courrier, with the corresponding payment receipt.
- Deliveries to Buenos Aires province and other provinces around the country can also be made by choosing the option of delivery through Chevallier transport company.
- Abroad: Delivered by Correo Argentino with its corresponding payment receipt.
What hapens if nobody is present at the time of delivery?
For deliveries in Buenos Aires province, other provinces or abroad there will be 2 delivery attempts, after which a notice will be left with the nearest post office address
or Chevalllier Transport company address where you will be able to pick it up.
In Capital Federal or Gran Buenos Aires up to 30 kms it will be delivered by one of our employees or private courrier in which case a time can be arranged either by mail or telephone.
What is Alpaca?
Alpaca is an alloy of three metals: copper, nickel and zinc. Unlike silver, alpaca does not tend to get darker, instead it turns yellow, but this can be quickly
changed by rubbing it with a dry cloth.
When the piece has reached a certain age it is recommended to use an abrasive cleaning product , this will bring its natural shine back,
(any product for cleaning silver can be used). It is not advisable to use this cleaning method on a new Alpaca piece.
What is a Facon?
A Facon is a much larger knife. Commonly used by Gauchos, who would always carry them around their waist.
Nowadays, some people living on the farm still
keep this tradition/custom.
What is a Rebenque?
A rebenque is a piece of bovine leather with a handle made of wood or other materials, such as Alpaca, used as a whip by the Gauchos to stir up horses, mules
donkeys or sometimes as a weapon.
